Game 3/162, Red Sox Lose Third Consecutive Game to Start the Season

Rangers 5, Red Sox 1

Red Sox - 000 000 100 - 1 5 0
Rangers - 011 010 11x -  5 9 1

Many bad things happened for the Red Sox on Sunday, marking their third consecutive loss to begin the season. Carl Crawford was moved to the 7th spot in the lineup due to his recent troubles. Clay Buchholz pitched reasonably and gave up 4 runs. One of those runs were Ian Kinsler's third homers vs. the Red Sox . Nelson Cruz also hit his third homer of the season. The only offense Boston got was from the seventh when one man crossed the plate of of Crawford's single. Later in the inning, the bases were loaded but Ellsbury struck out. Hopefully Beckett can revive the Red Sox and give them their first win of the season against the Indians on Tuesday.

Notable Players:
David Ortiz, 2 for 4
Carl Crawford, 2 for 4 with and RBI
